A Fun and Crafty Outlet

I enjoy watching Facebook and Pinterest videos of different crafts all the time. One day I watched a video about resin art, and I went down a rabbit hole! I was completely fascinated with the different types of crafts you can make with epoxy resin. I definitely wanted to try it, but I had no idea what to do. Watching the resin art videos made the tasks look easy and hard simultaneously. I did some research, mostly in the form of more videos.

First, I really like mixing the chemicals and colors together. Whenever I create something I feel like a real artist and a scientist. Welcome to DW’s Laboratory! Watch out Dexter. Second, although I didn’t really have any reason to do resin projects I knew that I had to try it. I was so curious, but curiosity is often expensive… I finally found my chance to experiment over the Summer. My sister had a baby shower, and I wanted to make the party favors. I helped plan her intimate event, and you can read all about it here. In addition, I worked hard to create themed keychains for her guests. It was a lot of trial-and-error, but everything turned out nicely.

Finally, after I made the keychains I knew this was a hobby I wanted to keep developing. I’ve been trying to create different things and giving some of them away. Now, I want to share this craft with others – with you all. I will be selling some of my nicer pieces on this website. You will find keychains, bookmarks, and paperweights for sale, here, very soon. Don’t worry, my hand-crafted treasures are made for inexpensive gifts with a raw, organic look and feel. They are made to share something special, from me to you, or from you to a friend. I hope you’ll like what you see, purchase an eye-catching piece, and spread the word.

Subscribe to my blog, and keep an eye out for special pieces, discounts, and more content from me on my website and on YouTube.
